The Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative has established a partnership with The Cisco Entrepreneur Institute to provide multi-media content development and customized education programs designed to foster innovation and entrepreneurship across the globe. 

The Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative is working with The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation to promote online entrepreneurship education programs for individuals and organizations worldwide. Our recently released Mindset program is currently being offered through an online learning scholarship provided by the Kauffman Foundation.



TechTown is Detroit’s rapidly growing research and technology park. TechTown stimulates job growth and small-business creation by developing companies in emerging high-technology industries including advanced engineering, life sciences and alternative energy. ELI works closely with TechTown to provide interactive entrepreneurship education and training programs.



ELI has teamed up with Pulitzer nominee Clifton Taulbert to create “Who Owns the Icehouse?” a two-part learning project designed to inspire and engage America’s youth in the unlimited opportunities that an entrepreneurial mindset can provide. Recognized by Time Magazine as one of the nations’ outstanding entrepreneurs, Taulbert is best known for his books Once Upon A Time When We Were Colored and Eight Habits of The Heart: Embracing Values That Build Communities.

ELI has licensed the Mindset program to Findaway for use with Playaway® and other pre-loaded products. Findaway is dedicated to delivering simple and immediate access to digital content listeners want or need. Their flagship product, Playaway® currently circulates in over 20,000 libraries and schools. The first audio player of its kind, Playaway® comes pre-loaded with premier content from leading publishers or custom content for specific audio training and education needs.

Through our partnership with WVIZ/PBS, we're working to provide interactive distance learning programs that enable students throughout Ohio to interact with and learn from a wide range of successful entrepreneurs.
